Karly Grainger is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Karly uses a play-based, family-centered approach in her practice and enjoys working together with families to develop individualized goals to help their child succeed.
Karly's love for working with children began in her early career as a figure skating coach. The joy of working with little ones combined with her passion for helping others lead her to a career in Speech-Language Pathology. After graduating with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in 2012, she began working with preschool and school-aged children in the public sector. Karly had the privilege of working alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, supporting children ranging from mild speech delays to severe developmental disabilities and complex communication needs. This experience enabled Karly to adopt strategies from all disciplines into her practice.
Karly is also passionate about evidence-based practice and regularly takes part in continuing education to increase and improve her knowledge.
